Mega Destroyer formed in London, Ontario in 2012 when guitarist Cole Vance and bassist Dana Rourke started trading riffs in a Wortley Village garage. What started as a two-piece noise project became one of Ontario's most relentless live acts within three years.
After self-releasing the raw demo Year Zero, the band picked up vocalist Jake "The Wraith" Mortis and drummer Sean Cross, cementing the classic Mega Destroyer lineup. Their debut full-length Wrathborn landed them spots at Northern Invasion and Heavy Montreal.
Ten years in, four studio albums deep, and they still sound like they have something to prove. Throne of Ash is their heaviest, most focused record yet.
